2. POP UP AD bar

The interenet is an amazing tool but not everybody undersands the complete value it possesses. For many websites or mobile applications someone has to pay for them regardless of their success. Pop-up ads or pop-ups usually pop up generally to get the users personal information, such as an email address or interupt them fro whatever it is they're doing on the world wide web. This will benefit the advertiser because that will enable them to send more information about their products to this person, now that they have thejir personal information.Of course on the other hand, they did not get this persons permission or if the user just clicked accidentally to get rid of the pop up the user obviously is not inerested in what the adverisement has to offer them. A great alternaive to pop ups is to make more efforst to get permission marketing so peopl don't have to waste time with them. Not only will this waste the users time but the advertiser as well.

Usually a pop up bar will pop up intending for you to want to quickly get rid of it so perhaps you fill out the information right away by quickly hitting a button, a name, or even accidentally clicking on the pop up ad creating more pop ups for the future. Many occur on porn cites in hope to show the user a new upcoming advertisement.

The actual pop up window itself has commonly been maintained existence by JavaScript by using cross-site scripting or another common name is by using Adobe Flash. It is not easy for the user to figure out which site could have opened the pop up unless you visit thie site on a regular basis and constantly get pop ups whenever you open this site.

Click "play" below to see how to get rid of pop ups:

Similar to the SPAM feature in email it is possible to block pop up bars. The imfamous Opera Winfrey was the first to block pop up ads shortly after Internet Explorer managed to block them as well. It is not uncommon for web browsers to have installed a pop up blocking feature these days.

If you're not careful with the free music, pornographic sites visited, or even certain images pop ups can easily cause viruses on you computer. Sometimes you will lose your current web information or page if you click to refresh or restart becasue the pop up will not disappear. If you're lucky you can easily get rid of pop ups by pressing down the ctrl button on your keyboard and a link will create a bypass option in order to filter the pop up.

3. Mobile Applications

Almost everyone owns a smartphone, i-pad, laptop, or some kind of electronic device that enables us to constantly download the newest version of the latest most creative internet application. There are apps for anything you can think of in the new digital era. Almost half of the U.S. population claims when they click to download an application it is by accident or for free of cost. If every company, hobby, or category has special apps for everyone then why not download them on to your hand held device?

A mobile app can provide you with everything you need simply by clicking a screen on your phone and usually require a wi-fi connection. All apps are interactive mainly because you have to take a picture, move the device in a certain direction, or press buttons on the screen. Mobile apps, like all technology were created in order to make users lives easier, faster, and of course more convenient by creating a device that can easily access information you would normally reach through your home computer.
With your smart phone and mobile apps your can access the same services right from your portable handheld computer devices. Mobile apps can be anything and are everything you ever needed such as : search engines, social networking, coffee locator, gps, universal music distributor, instant messaging , international messaging, fitness exercises, word doc, you name it it’s on its way!
A downside to mobile apps and electronic devices in general are that they can be very distracting. If kids are always using their phone in class, at dinner, on a date, or even in a movie. People are forgetting how to interact comfortably with each other or feel incomplete without the security of their smart phone or i-pad device right at their side.

4. Out Door Advertisements made as a FUN GAME:

Everyone knows McDonald’s is fast and convenient. Well this billboard enables you to physically figure this out for yourself. The main concept is for those passing by to simply “sort your head out” when purchasing a cheap one dollar large coffee fm McDonald’s fast food restaurant. The image is distorted at first and the women is attractive so to catch someone’s eye. The ad is an image of a models head scrambled up, allowing you to really sort out the pieces to finally reveal McDonald’s logo. It can be individual or a group effort to find the correct pieces.

This kind of out- doors interactive advertising can be fun and becomes a bit of a challenge for whom ever is playing the game. Everyone loves a good challenge, and everyone loves their coffee in the morning. So why not have both with McDonald’s new interactive ad provided here!

Another example of how McDonald's is using out door interacion as a sort of game is demonsrating the coffee beansfull or half full for free coffee promotion. This encourages the consumer to hurry and get over to McDonald's before the promotion runs out. They can phyisically see the time running out with the coffee showing the date and end of poromotion.

5. First interactive poster ad responds to people's sight

This out-of- home interactive advertisement is the first of its kind to react when the audience looks at it. The message presented here is letting the viewer see the kind of physical damage that can be done when you least expect it. In this case, a women and her partner look very happy, then suddenly you look away and she is being hit. Suggesting that women need to be careful and abuse can happen when you don’t see it coming. This can really get into the viewers head because it is very shocking and creates fearful emotional feelings. This could bring up emotional or vicarious experiences which in turn can be a negative aspect; at the same time that is the point. Anyone who sees this ad is not likely to be thinking of a happy moment. The fact is this ad is very powerful; just by someone simply looking in the other direction.

Anyone can interact with this poster who possesses sight. The main target can be anyone who has been in a situation like this or reminds the viewer to never get herself in a situation like this.

6. QR CODE INFO: Ralf Lauren Advertisement

Every ad these days has a QR code attachment. This Ralph Lauren ad. is very traditional but what makes it interactive is the QR code. QR is short for Quick Response (they can be read quickly by a cell phone) and are originally from Japan. They are used to take a piece of information from a transitory media and put it in to your cell phone.

QR Codes can be found in a magazine, on billboards, a website, leaflet, or newspaper. Anyone with a smart phone can use one, which targets pretty much everyone willing to stop to take a photo for some information about the –shirt or pair of pants. Many consumers will simply take a picture of the QR code from their mobile phones and it is designed to give you full details about the product you seek out. They are supposed to be a better version of a barcode because instead of a scanner you can a handheld phone to “scan” the QR code. This can include where a nearby store is to purchase this product, it may give you some info. about an upcoming sale or coupon available.

QR codes make it easy to access information about a product that interests you, that is right in front of you. You are interacting by simply taking a picture and hopefully finding a nearby location. I like the ad because it is simple but if the audience wants more interaction then something more 3D or technology based would be preferred. Although with little effort it offers a lot of information regarding the advertisement.
